During its first year of existence, the band was known as Primordial, but that was changed shortly afterwards. However, the De Mörka Makters Alla demo was released using the old moniker. The band was also included on at least one compilation tape in '96 with the song "Svart Gryning / Black Dawn" that still used their old name.
