ASTARTE SYRIACA is a progressive metal band from Italy formed in 2003. Over the years the band has had several lineup changes. Its current lineup consists of Valentino Moser (vocals), Andrea Neri (guitar), Marco Polizzi (bass), Alessio Contorni (keyboards) and Alessio Brancati (drums).

In 2004 the band released a 4 song promo demo of just twenty seven minutes plus and in June 2008 the bands self-released their debut full length entitled "Darkened Light" in which they started working since 2007.

In 2008 the band wrote a soundtrack to the film "Green" written and directed by Carlo Fineschi and has since entered the studio to record their second album.
