The band's music and artwork are heavily influenced by the Silent Hill horror game series.

Changed name to "The Axis of Perdition" in 2004 to signify that it is a specific entity. Changed the name again in 2019, this time replacing "The" with "An".

The lyrics for the debut album and the Corridors demo were released at a later date.
